| Responsibilities: |
|
| |
- Carry out the duties of the classroom teacher as outlined in the lesson plans, manage student classroom behavior and enforce school rules and policies in the absence of the classroom teacher. This includes:
- Creating a positive learning environment
- Providing instruction to students by following the teacher’s substitute lesson plans
- Building positive relationship with students and faculty
- Motivating students to learn and participate in the daily lessons
- Demonstrating a familiarity with school, philosophy, program and policies.

| Qualifications: |

- Substitute Teacher Certificate
- To be eligible for a substitute certificate the applicant must have a minimum of 60 college credits or 30 college credits and currently enrolled in a college program.
- NJ Teaching Certificate (CE, CEAS, or Standard)
