Qualifications:
High school diploma required
Sixty college credits preferred
Secretarial experience preferred
Possess strong technological skills as required by the position
Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in the English language, both orally and through written expression
Must complete required health examination(s) and immunization(s)
Must pass required criminal history background check
Provide proof of U. S. citizenship or legal resident status
Performance Responsibilities:

Uphold and enforce school rules, Board policies, and federal and state law
Communicates professionally within the school community.
Demonstrates job interest, enthusiasm, and a cooperative attitude in work activities
Conscientiously performs work with minimum supervisionillingly accepts assigned duties and performs them within given timelines
Learns and applies new job skills
Performs routine and complex secretarial duties including word processing, preparation/maintenance of spreadsheets, filing, recordkeeping, and scheduling of appointments
Has thorough knowledge of office equipment and assists with care and maintenance of equipment, as needed
May assist in the preparation of federal, state, county reports, budget compilations, or other tasks
Is accurate in reporting information and in the maintenance of records
Organizes responsibilities and workload efficiently; able to multi-task effectively
Maintains an effective working relationship with the administrative team, staff members, students, and the public
Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent and/or his/her designees
