Deer Mountain Day Camp (Pomona, NY) is looking for a science teacher or environmental enthusiast to lead its Nature/Science program at camp. The Nature/Science instructor develops curriculum for campers ranging in age from 3 to 12. Based on their background and interests our Nature/Science instructor would develop lessons around the following curriculum areas:

  • Camping, Orienteering and Outdoor Skills
  • Ecology and stream life
  • Animal Education and Care

Summer Dates:

June 27th - August 18th, 2022 (8 weeks)

8:30am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday

Transportation available for candidates from Bergen and Westchester counties, New York City (Manhattan and Brooklyn), Hoboken, Jersey City.
