SECURITY GUARDS

The Northern Region Educational Services Commission operates two public alternative school programs offering a chance of success to students in need of a personalized educational approach.  It is our goal to provide academic course work, credit recovery, and real-world experiences to students who have not met with success in a traditional school setting.  We work in conjunction with students, families, and the staff to create a network of support and multiple pathways to a diploma, college, or career.

SECURITY GUARDS - The Northern Region Educational Services Commission is seeking Part-Time (up to 28.75 hours per week), Security Guards for the Alternative School Program, Grades 6 – 12, located in Passaic, NJ. 

Qualifications:

• A background in security or law enforcement (SORA license is not needed) with school experience preferred or work with youth preferred
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to deescalate conflict
• Knowledge of building security issues
• Prior experience in law enforcement or related field of work is desired but not required

Working Conditions:

The hours (exact times will be established by the building Principal based on needs).
