Expected Date/s of Assignment:         July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 (Tenure Track) Qualifications/Requirements:

• New Jersey Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant Certificate
• Demonstrated knowledge of laws and regulations governing special education
• Effective problem-solving, human relations and communication skills
• Successful experience working on Child Study Team
• Chapter #116 Security Clearance

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Identifies pupil needs and cooperates with other professional staff members in assessing and helping pupils solve learning, social, and behavioral problems
• Assists in grouping children for special instructional purposes or activities so as to enhance pupil performance and provide for individualized needs as outlined on the E.P.
• Serves as a member of a multi-disciplinary IEP team
• Assembles available data as per individual assessment
• Assists school personnel and families of students in planning educational programs
• Follows Federal and State mandated procedures for referral, evaluations, classification, and the development and monitoring of IEPs
• Provides academic evaluations of students referred
• Assists classroom teachers in helping students by developing educational suggestions and programs which might prove
• Assists the special education teacher by providing educational programs and assists in their implementation.
• Provides follow-up services which include school visitations, review of educational programs, and meetings with concerned
• Assumes responsibility for any other duties or responsibilities assigned by Special Services/Principal.

Compensation:

• The district expects to offer a salary and benefits package commensurate with experience and qualifications as outlined by the GMBOE/GMREA negotiated agreement, ranging from

$62,565 to $91,280.
