PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:1. WORKS TO ACHIEVE STATE CORE CURRICULUM CONTENT STANDARDS AND DISTRICTEDUCATIONAL GOALS AND OBJECTIVES BY PROMOTING ACTIVE LEARNING IN THE CLASSROOMUSING BOARD-ADOPTED CURRICULUM AND OTHER APPROPRIATE LEARNING ACTIVITIES.2. DEVELOPS LESSON PLANS AND INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS AND PROVIDES INDIVIDUALIZEDAND SMALL GROUP INSTRUCTION IN ORDER TO ADAPT THE CURRICULUM TO THE NEEDS OFEACH STUDENT.3. IDENTIFIES SPECIFIC LESSON OBJECTIVES AND ESSENTIAL QUESTIONS WHEN PREPARINGLESSONS. IDENTIFIES SAME IN LESSON PLANS AND CARRIES THROUGH PRESENTATION TOEFFECTIVELY ACHIEVE THESE OBJECTIVES.4. MONTIORS STUDENT ACADEMIC PROGRESS AND PERSONAL GROWTH TOWARD STATEDOBJECTIVES OF INSTRUCTION.5. MAINTAINS ACCURATE RECORDS OF STUDENT’S EDUCATIONAL PROGRESS.6. IDENTIFIES STUDENT NEEDS AND COOPERATES WITH OTHER PROFESSIONAL STAFF MEMBERS INASSESSING AND RESOLVING LEARNING ISSUES.7. ESTABLISHES AND MAINTAINS STANDARDS OF STUDENT BEHAVIOR NEEDED TO ACHIEVE ACLASSROOM CLIMATE CONDUCIVE TO LEARNING.8. BUDGET CLASS TIME EFFECTIVELY.9. COMMUNICATES WITH PARENTS THROUGH CONFERENCES AND OTHER MEANS TO INFORMTHEM ABOUT THE SCHOOL PROGRAM AND TO DISCUSS STUDENT PROGRESS.10. DEVISES STUDENT ASSESSMENTS THAT REQUIRE ANALYTICAL AND CRITICAL THINKING.11. ENCORPORATES PROBLEM-BASED LEARNING AND INQUIRY-BASED LEARNING.12. DEVELOPS STUDENT-CENTERED, INDIVIDUALIZED LESSONS OF STUDY, THAT RESULT INMEASUREABLE LEARNING OF CONCEPTS, SKILLS, AND APPLICATION.
