Residency Verification Officer (Part-time)
Job Goal: Fort Lee Public Schools is seeking a Part time Residency Verification Officer. Qualifications: Investigation Skills required Computer Skills-Microsoft Office Package Demonstrated organizational skills Communication and interpersonal skills
Reports To: Business Administrator
Performance Responsibilities:
1. Provide assistance to the Business Administrator in verifying and maintaining accurate student entry residency records. 2. Receive and verify all necessary registration paperwork for regular and special education children who enroll in the Fort Lee Public School District 3. Verify student residency using methods to include but not limited to surveillance, computer programs, paperwork review and any other methods applicable. 4. Prepare monthly reports to be submitted to the business administrator per the form prepared by the administration. 5. Conduct on-site residency verification during appropriate hours to be scheduled by the school business administrator. Equipment will be given to the officer as necessary. 6. Follow up on special cases of absenteeism and truancy. 7. Attend court when necessary, testifying on behalf of the school district cases involving attendance and/or enrollment eligibility. 8. Performs other duties which may be considered related to registration and/or attendance at the request of the business administrator.
