Full-Time Teacher Assistant
The Burlington County Special Services School District is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual with a passion for supporting students with unique abilities.
Duties include:
-Demonstrated enthusiasm for supporting the needs of students with significant educational disabilities and behavioral challenges.
-Provide support to a certified teacher to ensure a safe and stimulating educational environment.
-Demonstrated ability to work with or experience working with children with disabilities.
-Willingness to work with a diverse group of individuals.
-Ability to maintain confidentiality of information regarding students, employees and others.
-Must be able to perform physical work, which requires frequent bending and lifting.
-Assists the teacher in planning and preparation for daily activities; aids instructional efforts of the teacher.
-Assists the teacher in preparing lesson outlines, plans, and curricula in assigned areas.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates Degree preferred.
- Physical abilities necessary to serve in this capacity including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Hours in alignment with school student school schedule: 8:00am to 3:00pm weekdays.

Salary per Negotiated Agreement
Required criminal history background check and proof of US citizenship or legal resident alien status
Must be NJ resident within one year from date of hire
