Union County Educational Services Commission is an expansive public agency providing innovative, dynamic and cost-effective educational programs and services for students enrolled in the 21 member public school districts in Union County. The Commission is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated School Nurse to fill a part-time position. Sample responsibilities include health screenings, emergency first aid, care of students and staff who are ill and injured while in school, staff training, coordination of care with outside agencies and families, maintenance of health records, and health instruction.

Requirements:
- One of the following: Registered Nurse (RN), School Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- New Jersey Criminal History Review
- School Nurse Standard Certification with instructional endorsement issued by the NJ Department of Education preferred, not required.
- Knowledge of specialized medical needs of students with developmental, cognitive and physical disabilities
- Interpersonal skills needed to relate effectively with students, parents, administration, staff and community partners
