Description  POSITION:                                 SCHOOL NURSE
                                                      2023-2024 SCHOOL YEAR
                                                      START DATE - APRIL 2024

RESPONSIBILITIES:                  * Provide nursing services in accordance with school nursing certificate.
                                                     *Maintains up-to date health records.
                                                     *Provides emergency care and administer first-aid to student or staff according to
                                                      according to established policies and procedures.
                                                     *Administer prescribed medication to students in accordance with law and board 
                                                      policy. Provides training and supervision of the emergency administration of 
                                                      of epinephrine for designated school staff.
                                                     *Performs other appropriate duties as required under law and board policy or as
                                                      may be assigned by the principal and/or Director of Special Services.

QUALIFICATIONS:                     *Valid New Jersey Nurse Certification
                                                    *Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal
                                                     resident alien status in accordance with Sate and Federal regulations.

SALARY:                                      Per Board of Education Agreement
