Conduct quarterly inspections of facilities using the State of New Jersey Monitoring checklist for safety and educational adequacy. Plan, implement and maintain the district’s Emergency Response Plan. Perform safety surveys and inspections; prepare written reports of findings and recommendations for corrective or preventive measures where indicated and follows up to ensure measures have been implemented. Assists, plans and implements safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), EPA, DEP and Department of Transportation (DOT).
High School Diploma or GED.
A minimum of 10 years’ experience in safety related field.
