Teacher of Bilingual /Bicultural/ESL (Spanish Preferred)

THE HARRISON BOARD OF EDUCATION IS ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR

THE FOLLOWING POSITION FOR THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR:

TEACHER OF BILINGUAL/BICULTURAL/ESL (SPANISH PREFERRED)

REQUIREMENTS:        

1. NJ Elementary Certification and or Middle School Certification and or High School Certification.
2. NJ Teacher of Bilingual/Bicultural Education Certification
3. NJ Teacher of English-as-a-Second Language Certification
4. Or willing to enroll in a program of study to acquire certifications
5. Bilingual in Spanish and English.
6. Demonstrated knowledge of effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate classroom activities.
7. Criminal History approval
8. NJ Residency, as required by statute
9. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education and the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable.

REPORTS TO:         Principal

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:  Ten Month School Year.  Salary in accordance with Teacher’s Salary Guide.
