12-Month Position

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Valid NJ Standard Instructional certification
• Previous experience working with Special Education, preferred
• Experience using Behavior Management techniques
• Must pass CHRU background check
• Must have recent Tuberculous screening

RESPONSIBILITIES:        

•  Provides instruction to assigned students.
• Develops lesson plans and instructional materials, and provides opportunities for individualized and small group instruction in order to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each pupil.
• Strives to maximize the educational achievement of each student.         
• Employs a variety of instructional techniques that are appropriate to the achievement of the goals and objectives specified in each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP).
• Assesses on an on-going basis student progress toward the acquisition of goals and objectives listed in the student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP).

PAY RATE: Per Teachers Contract with sick and personal days
