Job Title:

Special Education One on One Paraprofessional

Qualifications:

High School Diploma (Praxis Exam required); preferred Substitute Certificate (60 College Credits); behavior management techniques and student toileting skills preferred 

Scope of Responsibility:

Providing support to the instructional program with specific responsibility for assisting in the supervision, care and instruction of special needs students in the regular classroom or in a special education classroom; Assisting in implementing plans for instruction; Monitoring student behavior; And providing information to appropriate school personnel.

Reports to:

Director of Special Services, Building Principal at HAS

Contract Year:

August 30, 2023 to June 14, 2024; Tenure Track

Hours:

29.5 hours per week – not to include benefits

Salary:

As per negotiated contract
