Description

Pope John XXIII Regional High School, an 8th through 12th grade Catholic high school located in Sparta, New Jersey, is seeking applicants to fill the following teaching positions available for the upcoming school year, 2023-2024:

 

Computer Science Teacher- seeking an experienced Comp Sci teacher to teach Honors Intermediate Computer Programming, AP Computer Science, and AP Computer Science Principles.

 

Physical Education Teacher - seeking a certified Phys Ed teacher for our 10th grade class that would include teaching Driver's Education.

 

English Teacher - for 8th grade - to teach Writing Skills and 8th Grade Literature.  Experience preferred.

A long-term substitute position for 8th grade English until the end of this school year may also be available.

 

Science Teacher -  teaching Biology, Chemistry, or Physical Science to students in 8th through 12th grade.  Experience preferred.

 

Social Studies Teacher - a possible opening teaching social studies to students in grades 8th through 12th, regular and honors level courses.  Experience preferred.

 

Math Teacher - possible opening for a math teacher to teach high school level math (Algebra 1, II, Statistics, regular and Honors level).

 

Candidates must have the following qualifications:

 

Have a current New Jersey teaching certificate, or be on track for certification.

Good classroom management skills.

Excellent content knowledge in the discipline for which you apply.

Excellent technological skills and digital skills to maintain a digital grade book, and work within our LMS.

Good communication skills.

Work in a faith-based environment, where Christian values are entwined in all disciplines.

Be flexible and a team player.
