JOB DESCRIPTION: Secondary (6-12) Social Studies Teacher
QUALIFICATIONS, MANDATORY:
1. New Jersey Certification in Social Studies (2300).
2. Competence in NJ Student Learning Standards
3. Ability to use primary and secondary sources
4. Ability to individualize instruction
5. Strong management and organizational skills
6. Willingness to work collaboratively
7. Required criminal history background check
QUALIFICATIONS, DESIRED:
The applicant should be knowledgeable about the following:
1. Ability to communicate (written and verbal) effectively with parents and professionals
2. Understands the use and programming of assistive and educational technology
