The following vacancy exists in the Branchburg Township School District:
 
Middle School Principal
Branchburg Central Middle School
Start Date: July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025

The Branchburg Township School District is seeking an inspiring and dedicated Middle School Principal to join our vibrant educational community. The successful candidate will be a dynamic leader with a profound understanding of middle school education as well as a strong understanding of adolescent development.
 
Qualifications:

  • NJ Principal Certification Required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a middle school leadership role.
  • Proven track record in instructional leadership and student achievement.
  • Strong understanding of adolescent mental health and well-being.
  • Knowledge of current educational trends, research, and best practices.
  • Ethical leadership and adherence to professional standards.

 
Skills: 

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build a collaborative and inclusive school culture.
  • Problem-solving skills and adaptability to address the evolving needs of the school community.
  • Demonstrated use of technology integration and ability to model educational technology practices. Familiarity with Genesis and Google Workspace is a plus.

 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership - Assumes responsibility for the management of the school in accordance with law, administrative code and board policies and regulations.
  • Champion of Mental Health and Well-Being - Prioritize and integrate mental health initiatives into the school culture, ensuring a supportive and nurturing environment for all students.
  • Instructional Leadership - Exhibit exceptional instructional leadership skills, with a focus on cultivating an engaging and innovative learning environment.
  • Student-Centric Approach - Demonstrate a strong commitment to student development, fostering an inclusive atmosphere that celebrates diversity and encourages student participation.
  • Collaborative Management - Work closely with teachers, staff, and the wider school community to develop and implement effective educational strategies.
