Description

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conducts clerical and secretarial duties for the Superintendent's Office and Business Administrator's Office

 Assists Business Administrator in the preparation of budget, District Report of Transported Students (DRTRS), Application for State School Aid (ASSA), Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) and other required reports

 Serves as Central Office receptionist

 Files Business Administrator's correspondence and district records

 Coordinates district use of facilities

 Provides secretarial support to the Director of Buildings and Grounds

 Processes district insurance policies and claims including workmen compensation, student accident and general liability

 Coordinates school lunch program

 Coordinates special education, choice school and vocational school tuition contracts -- sending and receiving

 Coordinates district transportation including regular, special education, non-public, vocational and district owned routes

 Prepares and processes all employee contracts and letters of appointment

 Coordinates grant applications/final reports with project directors

 Provides set up and break down for all Board meetings

 Coordinates district records retention; prepares disposal schedule for all records in storage and submits to state for destruction

 Performs all other duties as assigned by the Superintendent and Business Administrator
