The Berlin Township School District, located in Camden County, New Jersey, is seeking qualified candidates for an anticipated full time Elementary Special Education Teacher position. The district is committed to excellence in education through a strong belief that each and every student can learn at high levels. The ideal candidate should possess the following:
- NJ Special Education and Pre K - 3 certification (or documented eligible for the same)
- Knowledge of the New Jersey Teaching and Learning Standards
- Experience developing and working with behavior plans, positive behavior supports, data collection and data analysis preferred
- Ability to work in a collaborative setting
- Ability to differentiate instruction
- Understanding of a wide range of multiple disabilities
- Practical knowledge of current educational practices
- Demonstrate a strong love of children
