The Lumberton Township School District has multiple openings for tenure track Special Education Teachers, effective September 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025, to continue the district’s tradition of high student achievement. We are a three school, high performing K-8 district in beautiful, rural/suburban Burlington County with a dedicated staff, dynamic administrative team and supportive community.
Special Education Teachers – Tenure Track (FT – 10 Month)
Lumberton Middle School (Grades 6-8) and Ashbrook Elementary School (Grade PK-1)
The successful candidate must possess the following:
- Valid State of New Jersey Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certificate or State of New Jersey Teacher of the Handicapped Certificate required
- Capable of maintaining a positive learning environment
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with students, parents, and staff
- Experience preferred but not required
