SUPERVISOR OF STUDENT SERVICES - SECONDARY EDUCATION (11-MONTH POSITION)
2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR
MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOLS
We are presently accepting applications for the following position. This position requires proper N.J certification
SUPERVISOR OF STUDENT SERVICES - SECONDARY EDUCATION (11-MONTH POSITION)
QUALIFICATIONS:
NJ Certification:
Supervisor endorsement/instructional certificate with Teacher of Students with Disabilities or educational services certificate with School Psychologist or School Social Worker or Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant endorsement
Three (3) to five (5) years of administrative experience in special education, preferred
Previous experience as a direct service provider (CST, teacher or related services) in a special education program
Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis and NJ Quality Indicators and best practices
Knowledge of Federal IDEA and NJ Special Education Administrative Code
Experience with behavior classroom management systems, developing transition plans and data collection
Knowledge of NJ Student Learning Standards
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Knowledge of educational software applications
Excellent communication skills
Experience working with at-risk students
