LEAP Academy University Charter School is seeking a
Coordinator of Transportation to assist with day -to-day assignments within the transportation office that will embrace and drive the LEAP mission and goals for its students.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Communicating with parents about students behavior or any issues
- Make school routs for school buses (routing)
- Requesting transportation for IEP, Aide in Lieu to out of district students
- Assists with the responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the school transportation
- Ensures compliance with all laws, regulations and board policy related to school transportation
- Assists with recruiting, training for all transportation personnel (full and part-time)
- Assists with preparing all transportation records and reports as required by law, code or board policy.
- Assists and oversees the daily activities
- Prepare trip reports consisting of mileage and gas receipts.
- Report unruly behavior to principals or school and/or supervisor.
- Report delays and accidents.
- Keep operational records such as mileage and gas receipts.
- Report defects or problems with vehicle to immediate supervisor.
- All other duties that may be assigned by supervisor and or designee
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree
- Completion of first Aid
- Safety rules and regulations
- Complete lifetime driving history from any state in which you held a driver’s license
- No DUI conviction past fifteen (15) years
