Paraprofessional/Classroom Aide

The Deal School is looking for a motivated individual to work as a classroom aide/paraprofessional, possibly one-to-one, with our K-6 population of young learners.  This is a full-time position that would entail working closely with the classroom teachers.  Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:

• One to one instruction and assistance in the classroom
• Accompanying and monitoring students in lunch, recess, and specials
• Maintaining communication with and meeting the needs of the classroom teacher as they pertain to the student
• Teaching certification preferred but not required
• Prior experience with elementary aged students preferred but not required
