Staff Needed: One (1) Facilities Operation Business Assistant

  1. Possess a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience
  2. Have one (1) year professional accounting or auditing experience
  3. Have strong organizational, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
  4. Strong analytical and data gathering skills
  5. Proficient in spreadsheet development and analysis
  6. Proficient in Microsoft Office and web based research
  7. Have excellent integrity and demonstrate good moral character
  8. Demonstrate the ability to read, write, speak, understand and/or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position
  9. Demonstrate the ability to use electronic equipment for work processing, data management, information retrieval, visual presentations, and telecommunications
  10. Providing excellent customer service and maintaining relationships with vendors
  11. Preparing and filing forms and other documents
  12. Working knowledge of inventory control practices
  13. Promptly answering the questions of staff and other stakeholders
  14. Ensure all deadlines are met
  15. Have prior managerial and organizational skills and ability to motivate people
  16. Provide training to administrative/support staff on office functions as needed
  17. Provide proof of U.S. Citizenship or legal resident alien status by completing Federal Form I-9 in compliance with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986
  18. Provide evidence that a criminal record history check has been conducted and clearance has been given by the Department of Education. During the initial six months period provide a sworn statement that the individual has not been convicted of a crime or a disorderly person’s offense in accordance with 18A:6-7.1.1. 19.
  19. Provide evidence that health is adequate to full fill the job functions and responsibilities, with reasonable accommodation pursuant to 42 U.S.C 12101 and in accordance with J.J.A.C.6:3-4A4.
  20. Pass the state required Mantoux Intradermal Tuberculin Test as required by J.J.A.C. 6:3- 4A343 21.
  21. Meet such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable.
  22. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, with staff, students, parents, administrators and the community
