English/Language Arts Teachers

Requirements:

• Valid NJ Instructional Certificate (Teacher of English or Subject Matter Specialization – English Language Arts Grades 5-8)
• Knowledge/Experience working with anthology and novel-based instruction;
• Proficient at modeling/teaching/assessing written expression;
• Knowledge of the scope and sequence of NJ Student Learning Standards for ELA;
• Knowledge of state assessment test specifications for language arts (ie: NJSLA)
• Ability to integrate technology effectively to enhance instruction
• Knowledge of Charlotte Danielson’s Framework for Teaching – a plus
• Knowledge of best practices in middle level education
• Willingness to collaborate with fellow department members

• 2022 - 2023 School Year
• Anticipated start date- February 1, 2023
