Coordinator of Student Information

Job Description:
 
Responsible for the administration and support of the student information system for the Summit Public School District. Responsibilities include the effective management of all aspects of the student information system, coordination with administrators to complete required local/state/federal reporting, supporting all system users, and the integration of the student information system with other systems.
 
Qualifications:
            REQUIRED
  1. Ability to work with others in a friendly and supportive manner
  2. Have an understanding of the role of customer service in supporting all stake-holders
  3. Have extensive experience managing and using a student information system
  4. Have experience with using a student information system to create student and teacher schedules
  5. Have experience with using a student information system to register students
  6. Have experience with using a student information system to maintain student report cards and other related data
  7. Have experience with performing State uploads and reporting
  8. Demonstrate a working knowledge of productivity software
 
DESIRABLE BUT NOT REQUIRED
  1. BA or BS degree preferred
  2. Experience using the Genesis student information system
  3. Experience creating custom reports within a student information system
  4. Experience with NJSmart and/or Pearson Access Next
