The Berlin Township School District, located in Camden County, New Jersey, is seeking qualified candidates for an anticipated Special Education Teacher for a long term substitute position in a Preschool Disabilities classroom. The district is committed to excellence in education through a strong belief that each and every student can learn at high levels. The ideal candidate should possess the following:
- NJ Special Education and Preschool-3 certification (or documented eligible for the same)
- Experience developing and working with behavior plans, positive behavior supports, data collection and data analysis preferred
- Ability to work in a collaborative setting
- Ability to differentiate instruction
- Understanding of a wide range of multiple disabilities
- Practical knowledge of current educational practices
- Demonstrate a strong love of children
