and

Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)

Part-Time AND Full-Time

Archway Programs is seeking experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) and Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBA) with strong clinical and interpersonal skills. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong knowledge base and ability to be effective in the following areas: functional behavioral assessment, development of functional behavior plans, problem behavior reduction programming, verbal behavior instruction, & behavior support, staff and family training/supervision. The goal for this position is to help reduce targeted behaviors by 80% and assist children to function appropriately in the school, home and community setting.

 

This is a unique position in that Behavior analyst techniques and principles long used for individuals with developmental delays and behavioral comorbidity in the school and community setting will be offered to children with multiple disabilities in a school model.


Responsibilities include:

 

  • Interface with families and children conducting functional behavioral assessments, constructing functional behavioral plans, designing appropriate interventions, supervising the implementation of strategies assessment goals, and ongoing monitoring of progress within each child’s program.
  • Interface with other professionals communicating the rationale of behavioral intervention in general and how the program designed for a specific child is resulting in significant clinical change.

Qualifications:

 

  • BCBA or BCaBA with current certification
  • Strong background in developing and implementing behavioral programs to facilitate the acquisition of appropriate behaviors and communication skills
  • Ability to work with children (ages 3 to 21) who range from high functioning to low functioning ASD and be able to develop and supervise the implementation of clinical programs in the, school, and community environments
  • Excellent work ethic, high degree of quality work
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member in a dynamic, fast paced environment including one that is building structure and process as it goes along; must be flexible and patient
  • Previous experience working in a reputable clinic or school program is highly desirable
