SUBSTITUTE CUSTODIANS

Job Summary: Fort Lee Public Schools is seeking Substitute Custodians.
Job Goal: The Substitute Custodian shall perform routine cleaning and maintenance of school facilities to ensure a safe, clean, and orderly environment for students, staff, and visitors. The Substitute Custodian follows established procedures and responds to building needs as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, and staff members, both verbally and in writing.
- Must be reliable and of good moral character.
- Must meet criminal background check.
- Cleaning experience preferred.
- Must be in good physical condition and able to lift heavy objects.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
Working Conditions: Called in on an as needed basis.
Salary: $20.00 per hour
Position Start Date: As soon as possible
