Job Summary:
The position is a Media Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year
Qualifications:
- Possesses NJ Audio-Visual Broadcast Production Technology
- Knowledge of industry standards & literacy
- Knowledge of Media Law & Ethics: Understanding copyright, "Fair Use" in education, FCC regulations, and ethical journalism.
- Knowledge of Switchers, teleprompter operation, and "Live-to-Tape" directing
- Knowledge of Post-Production Advanced editing in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro, color grading, and audio sweetening/mixing.
- Skilled in cinematography and audio engineering.
- Skilled in scriptwriting for various formats (news, PSA, narrative), storyboarding, and project budgeting/scheduling
- Ability to collaborate and develop strong, engaging lessons for students that promote STEAM, creativity, design thinking, and innovation.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Experience designing project-based learning units where students act as a "production crew" for district events.
- Ability to guide students in creating a professional "demo reel" or digital portfolio for college or entry-level employment.
- Possesses a great talent in the Integration of Technology

- Ability to support teachers and student leadership teams
- Ability to promote strong learning culture
- Ability to collaborate and develop engaging lessons with the faculty and provide support through the classroom activities, coaching, co-teaching, and modeling.

Step 1 BA: $63,000.00 to Step 21: MA+30 $106,295.00
