Jump Ahead Pediatrics is actively seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team near North Bergen, New Jersey, for a full time school-based role! Let’s make a meaningful impact on every child’s journey!

Setting: School-Based Services (Pediatric)

• Excellent Compensation

• Compensation for the full school day, including prep time, note time, and lunch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist (OT) to help patients regain independence in daily activities.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities to improve motor skills, mobility, and coordination.
• Provide assistance and training to patients in the use of adaptive equipment and assistive devices.
• Document patient progress, treatment plans, and interventions accurately and timely in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team including OTs, PTs, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to educate them on treatment plans and promote optimal outcomes.
• Monitor and report any changes in patient status or response to treatment to the supervising OT.
• Maintain a safe and clean therapy environment, including proper storage and maintenance of equipment.

Requirements:

• Occupational Therapy Assistant Certification
