Salary for the 2026-2027 year - $71,730
This position includes full health benefits. If choosing to waive out of health benefits, you will be entitled to receive an annual waive out payment of approximately $5,000-$13,000 dependent upon plan/coverage.

To facilitate a comprehensive elementary education program and foster a safe, inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic growth and personal development. The Elementary School Teacher will support students in building strong foundational skills in literacy, mathematics, science, and social studies while encouraging critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and social-emotional growth. Through engaging, standards-aligned instruction and differentiated learning experiences, the teacher will help students develop the skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary for long-term academic success. The teacher will also maintain positive, collaborative relationships with parents, colleagues, and the school community to ensure a supportive and student-centered learning environment.
In the preferred Bilingual setting, a certified Bilingual Teacher would provide effective bilingual instruction that supports academic growth in both languages while promoting language acquisition and literacy development. The teacher demonstrates strong knowledge of elementary curriculum standards and uses engaging, developmentally appropriate strategies to build students’ foundational skills in reading, writing, and mathematics. By creating a language-rich classroom environment, the teacher encourages communication, vocabulary development, and comprehension in both languages. Instruction is differentiated to meet the needs of diverse learners, including English Language Learners, while maintaining a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that supports both academic and social-emotional growth. The teacher uses assessments to monitor student progress, collaborates with colleagues and families, and promotes cultural awareness and respect within the school community.
CEAS or Standard Certification in the following:
Elementary Education (1001) Required
Bilingual Education (1480) Preferred
