Join our specialized program which is designed to help each student achieve his/her maximum potential through individualized education in a therapeutic environment.
Through individual counseling, each student has the opportunity understand the root of their emotions and the impact those feelings have on their educational success. Providing therapeutic tools in combination with counseling will give each student the opportunity to explore their emotional self while developing strategies to employ when emotions become overwhelming.
School Counselor would work one-on-one with small caseload (10-13 students). Will review and/or establish IEP goals and provide services accordingly. Notes and SEMI reporting are also required aspects of position.
Position also requires flexibility, crisis management and, at times, home visits.
NJ school certification is required as well as valid NJ driver's license.
