The Lumberton Township School District has an anticipated opening, effective September 1, 2023, for a full-time tenure track Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant to continue the district’s tradition of high student achievement. We are a three school, high performing PK-8 district in beautiful, rural/suburban Burlington County with a dedicated staff, dynamic administrative team and supportive community.
Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant– Tenure Track (FT – 10 Month)
Ashbrook and Bobby’s Run School – Grades PK-5
The successful candidate must possess the following:
- Valid New Jersey Educational Services Certificate with Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant Endorsement
- Ability to consult with classroom teachers, administrators, and parents regarding special instructional methods and/or materials necessary to meet the specific needs of individual pupils
- Demonstrated knowledge of laws and regulations governing special education
- Effective problem-solving, human relations and communication skills
- Experience or knowledge of writing IEPs using IEPDirect
- Knowledge of NJ Special Education Code
- Public school Child Study Team experience preferred
