Description                                                          SUMMER 2024 SPECIAL EDUCATION
                                                         EXTENDED SCHOOL YEAR (ESY) PROGRAM

                                                         Pre K - Elementary: July 8th - August 8th
                                                         Monday - Thursday - 8:30 am - 11:30 am
                                                        
                                                         Secondary Grades 6-12: July 8th - August 8th
                                                         Monday -Thursday - 8:30 am - 12:30 pm

                                                         C.L.I.M.B. Program July 8th - August 8th
                                                         Pre-K Elementary
                                                         Monday - Thursday - 8:30 am - 1:30 pm

                                                         Highlander Academy: July 8th - August 8th
                                                         Tuesday and Thursday - 9:30 am - 11:30 am

ANTICIPATED
POSITIONS:                                    Special Education Teachers             Nurses
                                                         Speech/Language Therapists          BCBA
                                                         Physical Therapists                          Special Class Aides
                                                        Occupational Therapists                   CST Secretary

RESPONSIBILITIES:                      To plan for and provide students eligible for ESY with program requirements
                                                        as outlined in their Individual Education Plans (IEP's). To rate student progress
                                                        on previously identified IEP goals at the end of the ESY session and communicate
                                                       student progress with parents, as appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS:                       Teachers:  NJ Teacher of the Handicapped or Teacher of Students with Disabilities
                                                       Therapists:  Certification as an OT, PT or Speech Therapist
                                                       School Nurses:  RN/BSN
                                                       BCBA:  BCBA Certification
                                                       Special Class Aides:  60 College Credits Preferred

SALARY:                                       As Per Board of Education/WMEA/WMTAA Agreements
