POSITION OPENING FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2024/2025

SCHOOL SOCIAL WORKER
(10 Months – Certificated)
District/Teterboro Campus

QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Possess a New Jersey DOE Certificate (Standard) Social Worker or be eligible to serve (with an emergency certificate) as Social Worker.
  2. Attend child Study Team meetings and provide consultation with the administration, parents, members of the Child Study Team and other staff personnel.
  3. Develop social case histories and submit reports to the Child Study Team.
  4. Serve as liaison between school and community agencies or professionals in private practice that are working with students and families.
  5. Master’s Degree from an accredited institution with specialization in subject area.
  6. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
  7. New Jersey residency within one (1) year from date of hire.
