NJ Secondary English Certification required for the position
Minimum of five years of successful teaching experience
Experience in researched-based instructional practices
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for building a positive, collaborative environment with common instructional focus
Outstanding presentation and facilitation skills
Demonstrated ability to communicate in a professional manner both orally and in writing
Demonstrated strength in organization, communication skills and efficiency in meeting deadlines
All alternate route candidates (“Certificate of Eligibility) must show completion of 50 hours of pre-service training through a DOE approved CE educator program prior to being interviewed for a position. The certificate of completion must be uploaded into the AppliTrack portal in order for alternate route candidates to be considered.
