QUALIFICATIONS:

• NJ School Business Administrator Certificate
• Experience as a BA/Board Secretary or Assistant BA/Board Secretary preferred
• Knowledge and experience with school planning, purchasing, accounting and reporting facilities planning and administration
• Knowledge and experience in developing and overseeing all aspects of a school district budget, construction and maintenance
• Knowledge and experience with the operation of all school facilities
• Knowledge and experience with district payroll and state benefits
• Knowledge and experience with transportation and food service operations
• Knowledge and experience with risk management, insurance coverage, central data processing and other business-related functions
• Knowledge and experience with labor/union relations
• Medical, Criminal History Review, and Child Protective Measures approval
• Strong organizational, technical, communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills dealing with the community
• Strong presentation skills
• Strong interpersonal, collaborative and supervisory skills
• Experience in CDK Systems a plus
• 10+ years’ experience in a public-school system preferred.
• Knowledge of local/state/federal reporting requirements and applicable laws
