DESCRIPTION

Substitute Nurse, Per Diem

POSITION SUMMARY:

Provide daily assistance to the Lead Nurse, students and staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Appropriate New Jersey Certification required: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), School Nurse (SN), Certified School Nurse (CSN), Registered Nurses (General RN)
• Ability to maintain a positive learning environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Compliance with the NJ FIRST Act
• Successful Criminal History Clearance
• Proof of U.S. Citizenship or appropriate employment authorization
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find acceptable.
  
  

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Per Diem. Compensation and benefits as determined by the Board of Education and any applicable and collective negotiations agreement.

COMPENSATION

The compensation range for this position is $200/ per diem. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and education.

TECHNOLOGY SKILLS: Ability to be proficient in computer applications pertinent to support the position, including but not limited Google Suite, IEP software program and Genesis Employee Portal and Student Information System.
