REPORTS TO: Principal / Director of Health, Physical Education and Athletics JOB GOAL: To follow the approved district curriculum and establish a class environment that fosters learning and personal growth to help students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for continued education; and to maintain good relationships with parents and other staff members. To promote pupils' safety, wellness, health maintenance and physical fitness; provide pupils with an understanding of the relationship of a healthy body to healthy behaviors; and to cultivate knowledge and skills that are conducive to good physical and mental health.
QUALIFICATIONS:
New Jersey Instructional Certification in the appropriate subject matter and level.
Successful Criminal History Clearance.
Proof of U.S. Citizenship or appropriate employment authorization.
Required criminal history background check and proof of US citizenship or legal resident alien status
Must be NJ resident within one year from date of hire
