Job Title: Preschool Teacher
Location: Bergen County, NJ
Schedule: Part-time, 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday), with the possibility of additional days if desired
Hours: 8:45 AM - 1:00 PM, with potential for extended hours
Start Date: September 2024

Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for working with young children and a passion for early childhood education. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a key role in creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing learning environment where children can explore, learn, and grow.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote learning and development in all areas, including cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture where every child feels valued, supported, and respected
- Provide individualized attention and support to meet the diverse needs of each child
- Maintain open and ongoing communication with parents, caregivers, and colleagues
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and coordinate curriculum, events, and activities
- Create a welcoming and inviting classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and curiosity
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all students at all times
- Participate in professional development opportunities and stay current with best practices in early childhood education
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Teaching experience required; preschool teaching experience preferred
- Enthusiastic, high-energy, and passionate about working with preschoolers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Positive attitude, patience, and flexibility
