**New Position**

Approximate Start Date: September 1, 2024

• Deliver Engaging ESL Instruction: Develop and implement effective lesson plans and instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of English Language Learners (ELL)in high school. Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages language acquisition, cultural awareness, and academic success.

• Assess Student Progress: Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor students' language proficiency levels, academic progress,and socio-cultural adjustment. Collaborate with school staff to analyze assessment data and inform instructional planning and interventions.

• Differentiate Instruction: Modify curriculum, materials, and instructional methods to accommodate the varied language backgrounds, learning styles, and academic abilities of ELL students. Collaborate with content-area teachers to integrate language and content instruction and promote academic language development across the curriculum.

• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress, discuss concerns, and solicit input on instructional planning
