The Chesterfield Township School District, a high-achieving PK-6 district located in northwestern Burlington County, is seeking a Full-Time School Psychologist for the 2024-2025 school year. 10-month position available September 2024, with option to complete individual evaluations (per diem) and/or hourly case management during summer (July/August 2024).
The position follows the NASP Model for Comprehensive School Psychology and encompasses diverse roles working with students, families, and teachers to promote social-emotional and academic growth. Qualifications include knowledge of and experience with special education populations, as well as preventive and growth-oriented services for all students. Professional duties include serving as a member of the CST, completion of comprehensive psychological evaluations, case-management and IEP development, some individual/group counseling, assisting with pre-referral/RTI, and other areas as needed. Familiarity with evidence-based practices for evaluation and interventions for diverse learners, including preschool and ABA/FBA programming, is expected. Requirements include a current NJDOE School Psychologist Certificate.
