Working as a Payroll Administrator at Acelero Learning gives you the opportunity to work closely with the Director of Finance and the Support Center team to maintain the program payroll operations in accordance with Federal and State regulations. The Payroll Administrator will work closely with the Finance and Human Resources departments and will be responsible for managing the payroll process in a professional and knowledgeable manner. They will also ensure company policies and procedures are being adhered to as they pertain to accounting/finance.

To be successful and to thrive in this role, you should have strong attention to detail and excellent computer literacy that encompass effective practices in the following areas:
• Performing timecard reconciliation.
• Ensuring accuracy of payroll information in Workday.
• Processing garnishments.
• Working closely with Human Resources in processing final paychecks, employee tax withholding, direct deposit, retro payments, reimbursement, and additional payments (bonuses, vaccine recognition, fearless pay, etc.).
• Supporting employees with payroll issues.
• Filing Quarterly Modified Business taxes and quarterly work site reports.
• Overseeing Extended Day fund collection.

All you need now is the passion for achieving positive child and family outcomes through high-quality family engagement together with an Associate’s, Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Accounting or related field, 3-5 years of related work experience in automated high-volume payroll; detailed knowledge of intermediate functions of Microsoft Excel (e.g. creating formulas, pivot tables, etc.); and an eagerness to adopt our values:  Data-Informed Learning, Transparent & Open Communication, Growth Mindset, Dismantling Inequities, and Caring Teams and Community.

This position is required to work onsite to meet the needs of our organization and the community we serve.

Compensation: $60K
