SPECIAL EDUCATION RESOURCE TEACHER
RIVERFRONT SCHOOL
 
Start Date - September 1, 2024
Requirements: Valid NJ Endorsement as a Teacher of the Handicapped, or Valid NJ Endorsement as a Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certificate. 
Experience/Highly Qualified in Language Arts and Mathematics preferred. 
Knowledge of NJSLS 
Experience working with middle school students with special needs. 
Ability to modify curriculum and provide individualized instruction based upon IEP goals. 
Ability to motivate and work in teams to achieve academic expectations. 
Ability to provide a nurturing, supportive and positive classroom climate that encourages students responsibility, using positive motivation, clear classroom routines and effective classroom management skills.
Required criminal history background check and proof of NJ Residency.
