NOTICE OF VACANCY

Please be advised that the following anticipated position is available for the 2023-2024 school year, effective immediately.

     ONE (1) FULL TIME (1.0) HEAD CUSTODIAN (HIGHLANDS ELEMENTARY)

Applicant must hold and/or possess the following:

• NJ Black Seal Boiler License preferred and will be required within 12 months.
• High school diploma required.
• Valid NJ driver's license required.
• Criminal History Review (CHR) and/or background check required
• Ability to follow verbal and written work orders from Supervisors/Administrators or designees.
• Performs tasks to keep school building and building and grounds in an orderly, neat, and clean condition such as cleaning bathrooms and floors, washing windows, dusting furniture and fixtures, and any related tasks.
• Good verbal communication and basic computer skills.
• Good physical condition for heavy lifting.
• Good attendance and work performance record.
• Such alternatives or additions to the above qualifications are allowable as the Board of Education and Superintendent find appropriate and acceptable.

This is a full-time position (1.0), 5 days a week with hours of 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (extra hours may be required at times when needed). Salary to be determined based on experience.
