Job Summary:
Appropriate NJ Teacher Certificcate, Teacher K-8, Gr.5-8 Math or Science endorsement
Description:
Under the general supervision of the School Principal, to develop students' knowledge, skills and abilities in comprehending, speaking, reading and writing a language other than English, and to develop an understanding and appreciation of the native culture of the countries where the language is the primary means of communication.
Responsibilities:
Deliver STEM-oriented instruction through project-based learning methods.
Employs a variety of instructional techniques and performance assessments, which guide the learning process toward STEM related projects.
Uses technology to promote learning, creativity, and collaboration
Organizes, develops, and coordinates special STEM events/activities.
Follows all protocols when working with STEM related equipment that will optimize the learning experience.
Encourage student participation in extracurricular STEM activities, such as science fairs, robotics and coding competitions.
Initiates programs that support the STEM vision.
