STUDENT ASSESSMENT DATA SPECIALIST
The Student Data Assessment Data Specialist shall assist the administration in the use and analysis of data to assess programs. Responsibilities shall include but are not limited to the development and implementation of surveys and other data collection, validate and update student data, create and run custom reports and rosters using district database, assist the director in development and organization of materials for professional development workshops, create events and coordination, support the Director and the Coordinators by preparing purchase orders and performing other clerical functions for the department.
Bachelor's degree field relating to data assessment required.
Prior professional experience and/or advanced research involving the collection and analysis of statistical information related to student performance and/or other topics. Familiarity with the goals, methods, and constituent groups involved in elementary and secondary public education and/or data analysis preferred.
Advanced proficiency in Excel required; experience with Systems 3000, Genesis and NJSmart a plus.
Effective project-management, problem-solving, organizational, human relations, and written and verbal communication skills.
Spanish speaking a plus.
