SALARY: As per the contract between the Board of Education and the Phillipsburg Education Association
JOB DESCRIPTION: Secondary (6-12) FCS Teacher
QUALIFICATIONS, MANDATORY:
1. New Jersey Certification in Family and Consumer Sciences (1705), Apparel, Textiles, and Interiors (1708), or Foods/Nutrition and Food Science (1707)
2. Competence in NJ 21st Century Life and Careers Standards
3. Ability to individualize instruction
4. Strong management and organizational skills
5. Willingness to work collaboratively
6. Required criminal history background check
QUALIFICATIONS, DESIRED:
The applicant should be knowledgeable about the following:
1. Ability to communicate (written and verbal) effectively with parents and professionals
2. Understands the use and programming of assistive and educational technology
