Teaching students in educational technology and application software programs for the infusion of educational technology into the core curriculum.
Provide staff development and act as a resource person, giving demonstrations, in-services, consultation, or sharing articles and materials.
Coordinate the implementation of district technology directives at the school level.
Demonstrate ability to operate technology hardware and educational software used at the building level.
Assist in the development and implementation of the school-based technology plan in cooperation with the school leadership council and building-level staff and administration to include:
Vision and knowledge of future education and technology trends and needs
Technology instruction and support of NJSLS, in all subject areas.
Preview software programs, read journals and articles, attend conferences, demonstrations, and workshops, and network with others in the field to keep abreast of trends and significant developments in educational technology.
Assists staff with their technology needs.
Meets regularly with the district technology coordinator.
Manage student data and schedules in Realtime and troubleshoot User Access and Gradebook issues
Assist in the development of curriculum for the study of educational technology and application software programs and/or the infusion of educational technology into the core curriculum.
Adheres to and promotes the philosophy and objectives of the school, the administrative staff, and the board of education and interprets the policies and programs of the school in a position and constructive manner.
